Send Asher Some Love!

We are so encouraged that there are people all over the world praying for Asher! He is such a blessed little boy! We wanted to let you know that we are putting together a scrapbook for him and we’d love for you to make a contribution.

Please take a minute to write a note to Asher. You can write a few encouraging words, a prayer, or whatever you like. Just type it as a comment below. We’ll print out all these notes and put them in a book for him to read when he gets older.

You can also send cards or notes to our home and we’ll add them into his scrapbook. If your kids want to draw a picture or write something we’d love to have those as well.

*Please make sure to include your first and last name in whatever you write.
**Please include your state or country.

Thanks again for praying and for passing the word to you others. We have been so encouraged by all of you!

You can mail cards to:

  6. Dear Asher,

We thank Jesus that He answered our prayers and brought healing to your heart. That's the thing He does best ... He heals hearts. We are praying that Jesus will heal you completely and then that He will use you all the days of your life to help bring healing to other sick hearts. We are so glad that you and your family are home together.

    Your friends,

    Jim & Barb Rhodes

  9. Baby Asher, I prayed for you today. As we went through the day with our Silas we prayed that you and your mommy would be back to doing all those things together very quickly! The Lord has heard our prayers and has begun to heal your heart. We pray that you will always be tender to let Jesus work on your heart as you grow. He has made you wonderfully! We praise Jesus for your life!

  10. One week ago today I saw you come back from stillness with instruments consuming your small body to expressions with movements of joy and excitement. Your dad said you were directing traffic with your hands and feet. Words cannot express the emotion I felt when you and I were eye to eye again. I have never felt that feeling before. PURE LOVE, Thank You Asher. GranDanny

  11. "Thou art He, O my God, through Whose names the sick are healed and the ailing are restored, and thirsty given drink and the sore vexed are tranquillized, and the wayward are guided, and the abased are exalted, and the poor are enriched, and the ignorant are enlightened, and the gloomy are illumined, and the sorrowful are cheered, and the chilled are warmed, and the downtrodden are raised up. Through Thy name, O my God, all created things were stirred up, and the heavens were spread, and the earth was established, and the clouds were raised and made to rain upon the earth. This, verily, is a token of Thy grace unto all Thy creatures.

I implore Thee, therefore, by Thy name through which Thou didst manifest Thy Godhead, and didst exalt Thy Cause above all creation, and by each of Thy most excellent titles and most august attributes, and by all the virtues wherewith Thy transcendent and most exalted Being is extolled, to send down this night from the clouds of Thy mercy the rains of Thy healing upon this suckling, whom Thou hast related unto Thine all-glorious Self in the kingdom of Thy creation. Clothe him, then, O my God, by Thy grace, with the robe of well-being and health, and guard him, O my Beloved, from every affliction and disorder, and from whatever is obnoxious unto Thee. Thy might, verily, is equal to all things. Thou, in truth, art the Most Powerful, the Self-Subsisting. Send down, moreover, upon him, O my God, the good of this world and of the next, and the good of the former and latter generations. Thy might and Thy wisdom are, verily, equal unto this."
