Daddy Day with the Wolfpack

We have been very concerned about Brennan lately. With all the attention that we have been giving to Baby Asher and his medical issues, we are worried that Brennan isn’t getting the one-on-one time he needs. Well, thanks to good friend Zach Hanlon needing to get rid of his tix last Saturday, Daddy had a chance to do something VERY special…

…Take Brennan to his first college football game!

We did the whole experience; tailgate with CCC (with free pancakes btw, thanks Todd!), visit the Wolfpack statue/fountain before the game, and eat as much un-healthy gameday food as possible (including-but-not-limited-to popcorn, pizza, Coke, Sweet Tea, Goldfish, and chocolate chip cookies).

Brennan loved these guys!

The weather was absolutely perfect, Brennan sang the fight song with the band, he howled with Mr. Wuf when the team came out of the tunnel, he went nuts along with the crowd when they blocked a punt and scored on the first possession…

…and then he passed out with about 5 min to go in the fist half. He slept in my lap until the start of the 4th quarter!! LOL!!

Too much adrenaline I guess, but either way, this last pic represents to me what makes College Football Saturdays in the Fall my favorite. Brennan’s first overwhelming look at the fanfare, the RED, and the spectacle that is College Football.

We can put this one down as a win for Daddy :-)

(btw, SCORE: NCSU 44, BC 17)

  2. Awesome! Can't wait to spend those days with Caleb. He is almost a bigger Panthers fan than I am right now. I gotta get him up to The Rock sometime too. We are praying for Asher & your whole family.
