What is all of THAT?

We are so humbled and grateful for all the support that has been coming our way throughout this adoption process. Not all of it has been strictly financial support - look at all these clothes that have been handed down to us for Campbell! We are blessed with great friends who have beautiful daughters who have loved these clothes well and are now handing them down.

For me (Marty), seeing all these clothes in neat little stacks on the floor was an eye-opener. I had already left for college when my little sister was growing into dresses...and of course we have two very dirty and rambunctious boys...so all the pink, lace, frills, and dresses are completely foreign to me. But of course, after the initial shock, I warmed up to the idea really quickly. 

We simply can't wait to have Campbell here. Not just to dress her up in all these pretty dresses of course, but to love her. The clothes are just a simple reminder that she is loved; loved by us and by so many others who have given so freely! 

Think about that: this little girl who has been abandoned since she was a month old has folks that she's never met love her enough to give her these clothes.

Our ultimate goal in all this is to love her in a way that points her to Christ's love. Unconditional. Extravagant. Never-ending. 

It will start with clothes, toys, hugs and kisses (and food, lots of food!). 

Who knows where all it will take us? 

But we are so looking forward to finding out!
