Halloween Dinner

These are the people we spend the most time with. Most of them live in our apartment complex. Of course the Kiddos are Brennan's best friends.

Living in a foreign country is hard on American holidays. Most Asians have never even heard of Halloween. Since it is not celebrated here we decided to host a potluck dinner. We invited our American (and Canadian) friends dress their kids up and bring them over.

The kids had so much fun running around our apartment and for some reason they also thought it was fun to play in our bed. They said they "wanted to go night-night", but they were really jumping, laughing, and rolling around in the bed.

Since the kids could not go out door-to-door Trick or Treating, I came up with a fun alternative. We gave the kids a short Trick or Treating orientation because none of them are really old enough to know about it. Then one mom went into each bedroom in our apartment. We gave the kids bags and then let them walk to each door. They did the usual drill- a knock and "Trick or Treat". They were a little cautious at first, but they really got excited about the candy and of course they got right into some of it within a few minutes!
