It’s been a long day, but we are HOME! Asher was discharged around lunch time today. We headed home from Chapel Hill to Raleigh just before the bad weather set in. Turns out that a tornado touched down just 3 miles from our house on South Saunders Street (a street that we drove down just an hour before). We are so thankful that the Lord protected us from harm.
Please keep praying for Asher as he continues to recover from surgery. He is doing very well, but still a bit fussy at times. Also pray for the rest of us, we have caught a nasty bug and we’re all congested and coughing. It’s hard for Marty and me to take good care of our kiddos when we’re both feeling so rotten.
