In December we traveled a ton seeing family, friends, and serving college students. One of the highlights was seeing Brennan perform in his Preschool Christmas Program. He was one of the “cows” in the barn at Jesus’ birth. He did a great job singing several songs. Another highlight was Asher walking for the first time on Christmas Day!
Since Christmas we’ve been to 3 conferences in Greensboro, Charlotte, and Denver. Thankfully our children are VERY flexible and love to travel. The highlight for Brennan is always getting to swim in the heated hotel pools. He loves them now that he can swim on his own! Asher loves the water for a few minutes, but prefers WALKING instead of swimming.
On January 11th we also celebrated Asher’s Heart Day by returning to UNC Hospital to say thank you to all the wonderful nurses and doctors who cared for him. We took some homemade goodies for them as well as for the parents with children in the PICU. Praise God that Asher’s heart was fully repaired and he is developing very well for a 16 month-old.
